FOUNDER

MARKEIA PORTER

As a four-year varsity starter from Louisville, Kentucky, Porter was selected twice for the All-Seventh Region girl?s basketball team. Porter began her college basketball career at Three Rivers College and finished at Elizabeth City State University. She studied and earned her bachelor's degree in Sports Management with a concentration in Business Administration and pursued her coaching career. Now known as Coach Porter, she began her coaching career landing her first coaching position at Jefferson College in St. Louis, Missouri. Coach is carrying out her coaching career at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi.

MARCUS ASHFORD

Marcus Ashford, founder and owner of 48 HOOPS and a skills and development trainer in Lexington, KY.

I was born and raised in Lexington, KY. I attended Paris High School in Paris, KY where I played varsity basketball for four years. I started as a Freshman and won Class A State Championship in my junior year. Then, I continued my basketball career for the next four years at Central College in Pella, Iowa. I received a degree in Kinesiology.

I have been mentored by NBA trainers such as Ryan Razooky, Phil Handy, and Jordan Lawley. I have also worked with hundreds of versatile athletes of all ages and skill levels. Throughout my training career, I have had the opportunity to work alongside pro Jabari Parker, overseas vet Deandre Lansdowne, and Mikey Williams

SKILLS TRAINER (POST SPECIALIST)

KRYSTALINE MCCUNE

Going into her 4th year of coaching with the DuPont Manual girls basketball program. She lettered four season as a Lady crimson (2012-2016). During her time she led the Crimsons to a 21-8 record, a Region 7 title and a KHSAA Sweet 16 appearance. Named to the Louisville Courier Journal's All-State Girls Basketball First Team. Region 7 Player of the Year. Listed as a candidate for the 2016 Miss Kentucky Basketball Award. Tabbed a 2016 Kentucky East-West All-Star; A Nomination for the 2016 McDonald's All-American Game. Graduate of West Virginia University. Received her B.S. In Multidisciplinary studies. During her 4 year as a Mountaineer, she was on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll, Garrett Ford Academic Honor Roll; Deans list. Secretary of the Eta Omicron chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority incorporated.
