As a four-year varsity starter from Louisville, Kentucky, Porter was selected twice for the All-Seventh Region girls basketball team. Porter began her college basketball career at Three Rivers College and finished at Elizabeth City State University. She studied and earned her bachelor's degree in Sports Management with a concentration in Business Administration and pursued her coaching career. Now known as Coach Porter, she began her coaching career landing her first coaching position at Jefferson College in St. Louis, Missouri. Coach is carrying out her coaching career at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi.

Marcus Ashford, founder and owner of 48 HOOPS and a skills and development trainer in Lexington, KY.

Coach Marcus was born and raised in Lexington, KY, and attended Paris High School in Paris, KY, where he played varsity basketball for four years. He started as a Freshman and helped lead his team to win the Class A State Championship in his junior year. After high school, he continued his basketball career at Central College in Pella, Iowa, where he earned a degree in Kinesiology.

Throughout his career, Coach Marcus has been mentored by top NBA trainers such as Ryan Razooky, Phil Handy, and Jordan Lawley. He has worked with a wide range of athletes across all ages and skill levels, developing versatile training methods. Coach Marcus has also had the opportunity to work alongside professional players like Jabari Parker, overseas veteran Deandre Lansdowne, and Mikey Williams.
